- Stepped up after a strong spring and fall camp to earn the starting right tackle spot
- Drew the start versus SIU, missed a few plays due to injury but returned to the game
- Started second game of the season but at right tackle versus Ball State
- Drew start versus Charlotte at right tackle and was part of a rotation
- Saw action at Marshall and started versus WKU
- Part of the ninth O-Line combination and one that blocked for a program high 257 yards rusing by freshman Devin Singletary and a progam high in total yards versus Rice
- Started at right tackle in the UTEP victory
- Completed the third consecutive game as a starter and with the same starting five versus ODU
