BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Football's Friday Night Showcase presented by Phil Smith Acura and Phil Smith Kia returns to Paradise this Friday as the Owls participate in their annual spring game. Parking and admission on Friday are free and the game kicks at 6:30 p.m. on Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
A number of events are planned on Friday night, including a Uniform Surplus Sale, a food drive and a field goal kick worth $5,000. Be sure to stick around after the game for an autograph session with your favorite Owls by the Schnellenberger statue.
Friday's spring game is part of a busy weekend of athletics on campus, with baseball and softball also hosting home events on Friday evening and throughout the weekend. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead for congested traffic on campus.
Friday Night Showcase presented by Phil Smith Acura & Phil Smith Kia -- Details/Information:
Admission – Free admission for all fans. All fans should enter through Gate 1 (by the Howard Schnellenberger statue). Gate 1 opens at 6 p.m. and all seating is general admission and will be on the west side.
Parking – Free parking will be available in Lot 5. A state issued ADA placard or license plate is required for designated accessible parking areas in Lot 5.
$5,000 Field Goal Kick -- One lucky fan will have a chance to win $5,000, courtesy of Phil Smith Acura & Phil Smith Kia, by making a 40-yard field goal during halftime.
Season Tickets – Season tickets for the 2026 campaign are now available by calling 1-866-FAU-OWLS or visiting FAUtickets.com. Representatives from the Florida Atlantic Ticket Office will be on-site at the stadium to answer any questions on Friday night.
Season Ticket Gift – Fans that have previously purchased their season tickets, or new buyers on Friday night, can pick up their 2026 ticket holder gift – an exclusive Howard Schnellenberger mini-statue courtesy of Coke. The statue is an exact replica of the Schnellenberger statue that stands at Gate 1 to honor the Hall of Fame coach and late founder of the Owls' football program.
Uniform Surplus Sale -- All fans are invited to check out the Owls' Uniform Surplus Sale on the Delray Hyundai Deck, which will be open when gates open at 6 p.m. Hundreds of past FAU uniforms across all sports will be on sale. Payment can be made using credit cards or checks. Cash will not be accepted. All sales are final.
Owls Team Store – The Owls Team Store will be open on the Hyundai Deck, adjacent to the Uniform Surplus Sale, selling all the traditional FAU gear including t-shirts, hats, polos and much more.
Fan Zone – Starting at 5 p.m., fans can enjoy free entertainment outside the Gate 1 entrance. Fans are also encouraged to stop by the marketing table, located near the Howard Schnellenberger statue, to pick up a 2026 schedule poster and other giveaways.
Food Bank of Palm Beach County -- Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to benefit the Food Bank of Palm Beach County. This collection will occur inside Gate 1.
Postgame Autographs – Stick around after the game for an autograph session with your favorite Owls. Players will be signing autographs near the Schnellenberger statue.
Concessions – Concessions will be available on the Delray Hyundai Deck, which is open to all fans on Friday night.
Spring Game Format – The situational scrimmage set to last approximately 75 minutes. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the team will play four quarters of offense vs. defense with no scoring being kept and a running clock.
Band – Florida Atlantic's band, The Marching Owls, will perform throughout the evening.
Radio Broadcast – Florida Atlantic's radio broadcast crew of Ken LaVicka, Chris Newbold and Mike Mrezcko will call the action live on FOX Sports 640, on FOXSports640.com and the FOX Sports 640 app. They will also be joined by various guests throughout the night including Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White, and more.
