- Played for Mark Guandolo at Cypress Bay High School where he tallied 33 solo tackles, two interceptions, forced a fumble and rushed for two scores as a senior
- As a junior, recorded 30 carries for 490 yards and nine TDs...added three interceptions, three forced fumbles and 44 solo tackles, including a sack...while on special teams he had four kick returns for 130 yards
- Four-year letter winner recorded 162 career tackles, including three sacks
- He added 12 interceptions and seven forced fumbles
- As a freshman, was a member of the state semi-final team and as a junior he played in the state championship game
