Favorite Game: 2019 Boca Bowl. There were so many distractions but the team smacked the hell out of SMU. That game only justified why Glenn Spencer should have been the next head coach.
Favorite Play: Javion Posey’s TD against SMU in the Boca Bowl when I could hear the entire offensive staff on the sixth floor screaming in joy.
Favorite Player: Buddy Howell, Azeez Al-Shaair, and Ray Ellis for overcoming adversity to become champions—and in Buddy’s case, to become a Super Bowl champ!
Favorite Memory: The 2019 CUSA title game and Boca Bowl because it was a triumphant ending to the movie that was the Lane Kiffin Era. I hope Coach Kittley is the reboot we need.

Favorite Game: FAU vs University of Hawaii Played September 4th, 2004
Favorite Play: FAU entered the game as a 36 point underdog and the Boca Raton group of Fans number 50 strong who flew to Honolulu as a group of devoted fear not brave fans.
Favorite Player: We tied the game in the fourth quarter with less than a minute on the clock and went into overtime. Got the ball and kicked a field goal to win in overtime. Greatest comeback in FAU history.
Favorite Memory: The numbers dont lie...we WON against all odds.

Favorite Game: I think it was late 2000s in Ft Laud. I had 50-yard line tickets, and the Number 2 Ranked USF Team came to Stricker Stadium. We had an exciting team that year with a QB (Rusty) and a TE who both went to the NFL. The Owls gave them a great game but lost late. I really loved those games in that small stadium.
Favorite Play: Late in that game our QB was dealing and hit the TE about 20yrds downfield, and he jumped over the DB.
Favorite Player: I would say Rusty Smith who I think played for the Titans in the NFL. I liked it that he took the team to its first Bowl win. I had just met Rusty in a softball league in Boca.

Favorite Memory: In the early days, FAU played at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale. I wouid take my young daughter with me and we watched the games together cheering for FAU no matter the score.
FAU didn't even have a band. They used to recruit local high school bands. Different bands for each game. Those bands were great. Enthusiastic and Loud!!!

Favorite Memory: Pres. Tony Catanese announced that football was coming to FAU. He said :”We went on a nationwide search for Coach Howard Schnellenberger, & we hired him!”

Favorite Game: Aug. 29, 2003 - FAU vs Middle Tennessee
FAU 20, MIDDLE TENN. ST. 19: Jared Allen completed a 62-yard touchdown to Roosevelt Bynes on the final play to give visiting Florida Atlantic the upset. Trailing 19-14, Allen rolled out and found Bynes open near the 40. A Middle Tennessee defender tried for the interception, allowing Bynes to run untouched into the end zone.
The Owls, a Division I-AA team, drove 98 yards in the final 1:42. Middle Tennessee lost its home opener to a I-AA team for the second straight season.
Allen finished with 208 yards passing, completing 17-of-28 with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Bynes caught both touchdowns and finished with six catches for 126 yards.
Favorite Play: Allen took the snap and bobble the ball as he sprinted left. The time on the clock hit zero as he launched a 62 yard bomb to Roosevelt Bynes to win the game.
Favorite Player: All of them...
Favorite Memory: Watching Coach VanValkenburg in 1999, huddled in a cramped office off campus recruit players, with the line. "Now remember when you get to campus we don't actually have a field or locker room, so just keep your eyes open and have a little imagination"
