BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will head out of state for first time this season, heading to Boston to compete in BU's David Hemery Valentine Invite beginning Friday Feb. 9.
This will be the final regular season meet of the indoor season for the Owls after three successful meets in Gainesville. FAU is set to compete in their first American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, to be held from Friday, Feb. 23 to Saturday, Feb. 24 in Birmingham, Ala.
The bulk of the meet will be held on Friday where the Owls will compete in all of their individual events as well as the 4x400m relay. Distance medley relays are scheduled for Saturday. It will be FAU's largest meet yet in busy events with as much as 358 runners in one field.

Florida Atlantic wrapped up their third of three Gainesville meets with the Florida Collegiate Invitational from Friday, Jan. 26 to Saturday, Jan. 27.
- More program records were accomplished, this time in the 300m. Freshman Richelle Williams set the new school mark with a time of 40.06. All Florida Atlantic records this season have been set by a freshman
- Anna Rovirosa crossed first in the mile run (4:55.19). Jessica Hatch followed closely behind in third place (4:59.6)
- In the 1000m, Elyssa Toal (2:56.45, second best time in school history) tallied a first-place finish, followed by Jordan Stevens (2:57.45, fourth best time in school history) and Leah Helms (2:58.54, fifth best time in school history)
- In the 800m, Florida Atlantic captured the second through seventh place finish. They were, in order, Adrianna Mier (2:16.38), Toal (2:16.56), Rovirosa (2:16.91), Stevens (2:17.15), Hatch (2:19.07), and Casey O'Connor (2:21.87)
- Keturah Darwon, Mier, Williams, and Promise Cross won the 4x400m with a time of 3:53.22
- In the 1000m, Isabel O'Brien led the way with a second-place finish (18:24.98), followed by Analise Davis in fourth place (18:30.96), Ava Aseree in fifth (18:41.13) and Holly Arrison in 10th (18:48.23)
- Rosa Ten Berg (1:33.63) and Mier (1:33.87) recorded the second and third best times in the 600m FAU history
- Anabell Reumann recorded the fifth best time in FAU history in the 3000m (9:56.68)
- Promise Cross finished in fifth place with a time of 8.88 in the 60m hurdles, good for ninth in program history
- Arrison – 10th in 5000m (18:48.23)
- Aseree – 9th in 5000m (18:41.13)
- Cross – 16th in 60m hurdles (8.82)
- Analise Davis – 6th in 5000m (18:30.96)
- Hatch – 19th in mile (4:59.60)
- Mier – 20th in 800m (2:16.38)
- O'Brien – 4th in 5000m (18:24.98)
- Reumann – 19th in 3000m (9:56.68)
- Rovirosa – 11th in mile (4:55.19)
- 4x400 relay (Cross, Darwon, Mier, Williams) – 9th (3:53.22)
The Owls will regroup for the 2024 AAC Indoor Championships, to be held in Birmingham Friday, Feb. 23 to Saturday, Feb. 24.
