Hatch Named CSC Academic All-District

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Jessica Hatch, a member of Florida Atlantic's cross country and track & field teams, was named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, as announced by CSC on Tuesday afternoon.
This comes after a season that culminated at the NCAA East First Round Track & Field Championships in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams are selected by CSC which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. To be considered for the CSC Academic All-District team, athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 and be ranked in the top 50 of their individual events nationally.
Hatch concluded the outdoor season top 50 in the country in the 3000-meter steeplechase. She competed at the historic Penn Relays earlier this season, running a time of 10:07.58 etching her name at the top of FAU's record book and she had the second fastest time in the American Conference. Throughout the outdoor season, she stood firm in the program's top 10 and bettered her record in the 3000-meter steeplechase, 1500-meter, and 5000-meter.
