LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jessica Hatch of the Florida Atlantic women's track & field team concluded her season at the 2026 NCAA East First Round on Saturday evening.

The England native competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase this evening in Lexington, Kentucky, for her first outdoor NCAA postseason appearance. She was the only athlete from the American Conference in this event. Hatch was registered to compete in heat one. She registered a time of 10:48.35.

Hatch became the second Owl in program history to qualify in the 3000-meter steeplechase event, following Friederike Feil, who qualified four times in her career. She was the first student-athlete to represent FAU since Jessica Lambert in 2023. She concluded the season second in the American in the 3000-meter steeplechase and is now first in program history after her performances this season.
