Hatch Qualifies for the NCAA East First Round

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Jessica Hatch of the Florida Atlantic women's track & field team has qualified for the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky announced on Thursday afternoon.
The England native will compete on Thursday, May 28 in the 3000-meter steeplechase as she will represent FAU in the NCAA First Round for the first time in her collegiate career for outdoor. She is the second Owl in program history to qualify in the 3000-meter steeplechase event, following Friederike Feil, who qualified four times in her career.
Hatch competed in the Penn Relays earlier season, running a time 10:07.58 etching her name as No. 1 in program history and the second fastest time in the American. She will be the first student-athlete to represent FAU since Jessica Lambert in 2023.

She will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to compete in the 2026 NCAA East First Round on Thursday, May 28.
