JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team concluded their regular season at day two of the UNF East Coast Relays on Saturday.
The Owls posted strong performances across the board, including yet another school record set by
Jessica Lambert in the 800m. Her time of 2:05.99 beats the previous record she set on March 25th by almost three seconds.
- Cara Simpson put forth a season best in the 100m with a time of 11.84, ninth best in Florida Atlantic history
- Rosa Ten Berg followed up Lambert in the 800m, finishing in 22nd place out of a field of 71 runners (2:13.94)
- The 4x400 relay team (Simpson, Eriana Teague, Lambert, Melissa Mundell) finished in 10th place (3:49.19)
The Owls will look to carry their regular season momentum into the Conference USA Championship, to be held in Denton, Texas from May 11-14.
