DENTON, Texas – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team concluded the 2023 Conference USA Outdoor Championships on Sunday afternoon.Â

Head Coach Alex Smolka
"Tonight, we concluded a successful final C-USA outdoor track & field championship. I am very proud of our team members and extremely thankful to Coach (Georgette) Nixon and our support staff, Joel Robert, and Jasmine Morris.Â
Â
We are not yet where we would like to be yet, but our team culture and competitiveness is helping us to continue to improve. We were able to score in both relays and individual events. We achieved lots of new personal records and competed very well in all of our events. A special congrats to Jess Lambert for winning the 800m race and completing the indoor and outdoor this year. Our future looks bright!"
