BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's tennis played its final tune-up prior to the 2023 Conference USA Championship, on Monday. The Owls fell in that tune-up, held at the USTA National Campus at Lake Nona, Florida, to No. 52 SMU 4-0.

FAU dropped the doubles point with losses on courts one and two. The Owls then saw SMU take courts one through three, while courts four through six were called before completion and courts four and six were pushed to three sets.
