BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team are set to return to action at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic on Thursday and Friday. The meet will take place in Gainesville, where FAU last competed two weeks ago at the RADD Track & Field Invitational. This upcoming meet will be the last of the regular season before the Conference USA indoor championships.

- Jessica Lambert continued her dominant month with first place and a new school record in the 800m (2:06.98)
- Cara Simpson set a new personal best in the 60m (7.52), also the third best time in school history
- Elyssa Toal won first place in the 1000m (3:03.51)
- Rosa ten Berg captured third place in the 600m (1:36.05)
- Madlen Kappeler placed in third in the 3000m (10:06.7)
- The Owls were the winners of the 4x400 relay. The 'A' team (Simpson, Lambert, Teague, Mundell) finished with a time of 3:49.88

Following this meet, the Florida Atlantic Owls will have two weeks to prepare for the C-USA Indoor Championships, set to occur from Feb. 15 – 18 in Birmingham, Ala.
