GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team concluded their two-day meet at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic on Friday. The Owls successfully carried over their momentum from day one with more first place finishes and FAU records.
- Eriana Teague joined this season's FAU record parade, setting the new mark in the 300m with a time of 40.34
- Rosa ten Berg earned the victory in the 800m (2:12.18)
- Madlen Kappeler (5:05.28) and Anabell Reumann (5:07) placed third and fourth, respectively, in the mile
- Dahlia Barnes tallied a new personal best in the long jump with a mark of 5.67 to finish in second place. Her score is also tied for fifth best in FAU history
- In the 4x400 relay, the 'A' team (Jessica Lambert, Cara Simpson, Teague, Melissa Mundell), finished in first place with a time of 3:47.89
This concludes the indoor regular season for the Florida Atlantic Owls. They will have a weekend off to regroup before the Conference USA Indoor Championships, occurring from Feb. 18-19. in Birmingham, Ala.
