– The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set for their midseason tournament meet at the George Mason- hosted 2023 Patriot Invitational, to be held from Thursday to Saturday.

For the Owls, they are coming off their most successful performance at the Patriot Invite yet, with the men's team taking first place with 1,128 points, while the women's team finished second in their field with 874 points.

Men
- The men captured the first place finish out of seven teams
- Timo Paisley led the way with three gold medals: the 200 free (1:38.34), 500 free (4:28.66), and 1650 free (15:36.43)
- Dalton Lillibridge took the victory in the 200 breast (1:58.45)
- Jackson Kirk placed in third in the 100 free (44.94)
- Christoffer Weiss (1:48.35) and David Arneskov (1:49.22) placed in first and second, respectively, in the 200 fly. Arneskov would later win the gold in the 400 IM (3:53.44)
- Brandon Shepherd earned second place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 276.45
- In the 100 back preliminaries, Beals tallied a new FAU freshman record with a time of 49.24. In the finals, he placed in second with a time of 49.36
- Maximiliano Ahumada finished in third place in the 100 back finals (49.67)
Women

The Owls are coming off a home meet against the University of Toronto on Nov. 4.

Men
- The men captured the win in both the 200 medley and 200 free relays. The 200 medley team of Peyton Ming, Lillibridge, Jackson Kirk, and Jacob Rubin posted a time of 1:28.48, while Jack Sheehan, Jake Bair, Logan Thornsberry, and Rubin recorded a time of 1:22.07
- Lillibridge added another victory in the 100 breast to his name (54.43). For his efforts on the afternoon, he was rewarded with the ASUN Swimmer of the Week award
- Sheehan (45.58) and Kirk (45.77) took first and second, respectively, in the 100 free
- Paisley took first in the 500 free (4:32.54)
- Ming captured first in the 100 fly (49.50)

Women
- Freshman Nula Gow tallied a win in the 200 breast (2:16.65)
- Yasmine Safargar swam to second place in the 400 IM (4:22.96)
- The women earned a victory in the 200 free relay, with Izzy Jones, Bry Bellile, Maggie Casey, and Lydia Lanahan combining for a time of 1:35.43Â

Owl swimmers will regroup on Nov. 29, where select swimmers will compete in the Toyota U.S. Open in Greensboro, N.C. for a chance to make their national team.
