FAIRFAX, Va. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up their most successful Patriot Invitational yet on Saturday evening. The Owls dominated throughout the competition and that continued on the third and final day, ultimately concluding a weekend that saw six school records and 17 first place finishes with a sweep.

1,059 points was the final tally for the men's team, while the women also took first in their field with 986 points.

Men
- The Owls took the top two times in the 1650 free: Timo Paisley in first (15:36.36) and Logan Thornsberry in second (15:36.41)
- Top spots in the 100 free were also dominated by Owls, with Jackson Kirk taking gold (44.42) and Jacob Rubin earning silver (44.48)
- In the 400 free relay, the team of Thornsberry, Rubin, Jake Bair, and Kirk earned second place with a time of 2:57.15

Women
- Dolores Margni earned the victory in the 200 fly with a time of 1:59.96
- Nula Gow won the gold (2:16.82) and Bilu Bianchi took the silver medal (2:17.14) in the 200 breastÂ
- The 400 free relay team (Izzy Jones, Bry Bellile, Maggie Casey, and Julia Earnshaw) earned second place with a time of 3:24.84

The Owls will take well deserved resting time. Select swimmers will participate in the Toyota U.S. Open, Nov. 29 – Dec. 2 and the Open Water National Championship on Dec. 17. The next meet will be the unofficial Florida Atlantic Fun Invite against Old Dominion and the University of Illinois-Chicago on Dec. 20, hosted at the FAU Aquatic Center.
