10 Consecutive Semesters Honored

BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the tenth consecutive semester, the Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been named a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the 2026 spring semester, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
The teams' 10 semester streak were all under the direction of Men's and Women's Head Coach Lara Preacco. The women combined for a 3.719 GPA. The team had eight 4.0 recipients with 26 women above a 3.0. On the men's side, the Owls combined for a 3.530 GPA. The spring semester GPA was the highest among Florida Atlantic men's teams. Twenty-three men recorded a GPA above 3.0, with three earning a perfect 4.0.
Seven-hundred and fourteen teams from 418 institutions were recognized for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, these teams represent 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions (DI, DII, DII, NAIA, and NJCAA).
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be named to CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, a team must be a CSCAA member and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the semester of Fall 2024. In total, 781 teams from 459 institutions were selected by the CSCAA as a Scholar All-American member.
