JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team wrapped up the second and final day of the UNF Invitational on Saturday. The Owls closed their regular season with a solid performance that included season bests and entries into FAU's top 10 record books. All eyes are now onto the upcoming Conference USA Championships. Â
Â
"We used this meet as a tune-up meet for what's to come," said head coach
Alex Smolka. "We didn't taper and overall competed on tired legs in order to get ready for the C-USA's. Having said that, we're happy with our performances! It's not always about chasing personal records, it's about getting ready for the championship, and that's exactly what we did this weekend!"
