Owls to Host Hatters

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team will play host to Stetson University, at noon on Saturday, Feb. 12th. The match, to be played at the FAU Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center, will be the 18th meeting between the two schools with the Owls holding a 13-4 advantage.

FAU, 5-0 overall for the 2022 dual match season, will be playing its third match in as many contests against an in-state opponent. FAU previously earned wins over FGCU and USF.

The Owls are led by Kevin Huempfner and Finn Stodder, who are both 5-0 on the year. Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Gerard Escandell will enter the match with each earning four wins compared to one loss.

The Owls will next play host to two teams from Georgia. Mercer will be the first to visit FAU on Saturday, Feb. 19 at noon. The Owls will then host Georgia State on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.
