BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team is set to compete at the 2021 Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend. After a year's absence of the outdoor championships, the team will begin competition tomorrow night in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium. The meet will feed into Sunday.

- FAU put a wrap to the regular season at the two-day UNF Invite in Jacksonville, Florida
- On day one, Jessica Lambert delivered a personal record in the 400 meters to capture the ninth fastest time in school history (1:02.40), finishing 17th. The England product followed up that performance with a 14th-place showing in the 800 meters (2:10.93)
- Cara Simpson finished in 22nd place in the 100 meters (12.11) and 28th in the 200 meters (24.89)
- Madlen Kappeler ran the 5000 meters in 17:15.28 to finish in ninth, and recorded the third fastest time in school history
