BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team will compete at the Miami Alumni Invitational on Saturday. FAU's events will commence at 3 p.m. at Cobb Stadium in Coral Gables, Florida. This meet marks the Owls' third invitational hosted by the University of Miami in the first four weeks of the outdoor season.

- The distance runners competed at the Vertklasse Meeting hosted at High Point University in less than ideal weather conditions
- Jordan Stevens tallied 30th out of 86 runners in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:57.73
- Saiz completed the 5000 meters in 18:08.16 for third place
- Alexis Hill (18:51.88) and Sharp (19:25.00) also raced in the 5000 meters to finish in 12th and 22nd, respectively
- Kappeler broke a five-year meet record in the 10000 meters to win the event with a time of 36:23.42, the second fastest time in school history
- Macon captured the seventh fastest time in school history in the 10000 meters with a time of 38:25.96

The Owls will take a week off before competing at the UCF Knights Invite from April 23 to 24.
