BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team took some well-deserved rest last weekend, and will return to competition at the UCF Knights Invite. The meet is set to commence tomorrow, Friday, and continue into Saturday. This marks the second-to-last meet for the Owls before the Conference USA Outdoor Championships.

- Francois had one of the best meets of her collegiate track & field career at the Miami Alumni Invitational, delivering personal records in the 400 meters (55.64) to finish fourth and 200 meters (24.35) to tally eighth. Her time in the 400 was the eighth best mark in school history
- Kappeler won the 3000 meters with a time of 10:19.08, while Morgan Sharp followed in second (11:29.88)
- Lambert brought in a new personal record in the 400 meter hurdles to finish eighth (1:03.30), while Simpson finished seventh in the 100 meters (11.93)
The Owls will close out the regular season next week in Jacksonville, as the squad will compete at the UNF Team Invite on Friday, April 30.
