"I know I speak for Aimee and I when I say we are very excited to win the Golfweek Program Championship," said men's golf head coach
Ryan Jamison. "This is a testament to the hard work of both programs, our entire athletic department and most specifically our players. I truly believe that this is just the beginning of something special with both of our programs."
"I'm very pleased with the way our guys rebounded today," Jamison said. "To count a 65 and 66 and shoot 272 as a team is very impressive. There are a ton of areas for us to clean up and we're looking forward to putting in a couple of weeks of great work in anticipation for the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at New Mexico."
"We are certainly pleased to start off the season with a win at the Golfweek Program Challenge," said women's golf head coach
Aimee Neff. "We are thankful for the support of the FAU community and are looking forward to building off of this week and continuing to improve each tournament. I think we have a good mix of experience with Amanda and Taylor, and youth with Kim, Justine and Rosa as well as a few more players at home. We have about a week before we get on the road again to compete in Franklin, Tennessee at Vanderbilt's event."
"We continue to get one day better and make progress as a program," said Neff. "We look to make the best use of our time this next week in preparation for the Mason Rudolph."
