WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's golf graduate senior Carolin Alblas will compete in the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship beginning Monday at The Park Golf Course in West Palm Beach.
Formerly known as the National Minority Collegiate Championship, the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship (PWCC) is the most culturally significant championship in collegiate golf. Founded in 1986, the inspiration for the event stemmed from elevating the game at minority colleges and universities. For more than 30 years, the PWCC has set the largest stage for student-athletes to compete at the highest level.
Alblas is one of 15 competing in the women's individual division. The native of Neuss, Germany made eight starts for the Owls this season with her best finish at tie for 28th in February. She will tee off at 12:22 p.m. on Monday alongside Towson's Victoria Kuranga and Lehigh's Alana Hall. The event consists of 54 holes spread across three days.
The Park will play as a par 71 at 5,806 yards. Live hole-by-hole scoring can be followed on Golf Genius.
