Five from Women’s Golf Named as All-American Scholars

FRISCO, Texas – The 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team was announced on Monday. Florida Atlantic was well-represented with five selections.
Juniors Charlotte Perkins and Giulia Scarcello and graduate senior Carolin Alblas each earned their place on the list for the third consecutive year. Sophomore Maddie Rathjen was recognized for the second time, while freshman Tina Genoulaz capped off her debut season with an honor as well. As a team, the Owls recorded a 3.725 cumulative GPA in the spring semester to lead all of Florida Atlantic athletics.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
• Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
• Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
1,551 women's collegiate golfers were recognized as All-American Scholars.
