BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team concluded the first day of the Golfweek Program Championship on Monday, sitting in sixth place after two full rounds of play with an even team score of 560.

About the Owls

The Owls opened the season at the Golfweek Program Championship and finished in third overall and FAU claimed the overall school title with the combined scores of the men's and women's teams.

Sully Zagerman was the top finisher for the Owls, tying for sixth place with a 6-under score after three rounds. Alex Maguire and Maximilien Sturdza had impressive debuts with the Owls, with top-25 finishes for both.

The Field

FAU will competing against New Mexico, UNLV, Arizona, BYU, San Diego State, Utah, Kansas, Colorado, Coastal Carolina, Wyoming, North Texas, UTEP, New Mexico State and Loyola Marymount.
