Joined the staff as a graduate student worker in the fall of 2021
Assimilated into the FAU football staff as a graduate assistant worker with the knowledge and experience gained while working in a similar capacity with Coach Taggart at FSU
Gained experience in the areas of compliance and facilities from the fall of 2021 through the spring of 2022
Elevated to Director of On-Campus Recruiting in the summer of 2022
In December of 2022, Padgett added the responsibility of head coach relations to her resume
In the summer of 2024, Padgett moved to the athletic department, where her attention is focused on raising funds for the student-athletes as a Director of Development
Following a coaching shift, Padgett returned to football in January of 2025 as the Director of Recruiting

At FSU

Served the day-to-day operations of the Florida State football recruiting department with a focus of planning official and unofficial visits, hosting potential student-athletes and families during FSU game days
Padgett was a checkpoint for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information on PSAs
Worked alongside the personnel and player development positions

Corporate Experience

As a student, she was involved as a feature reporter for Seminole Productions where she wrote scripts and helped produce features for Noles All-Access and FSU Headlines shows, which aired on Fox Sun Sports, and highlighted FSU student-athletes and athletic teams
In this role, she coordinated with editors to research and visualize stories and also worked with FSU’s communication staff to conduct interviews with student-athletes and coaches
Worked as a social media and podcast production intern for the “Don Yaeger Speaks show where she curated content for social media posts, which included working on both Don’s personal and professional social media accounts
