Fiacable Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Preseason watch list honors continue to roll in for Florida Atlantic football. Graduate OL Vincent Fiacable was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List as announced on Thursday.
The Rimington Trophy worked in conjunction with Pro Football Focus to identify the top 40 centers in the nation entering 2026.
Fiacable is one of four players from the American Conference represented on the list. The versatile offensive lineman, who will see time at guard in the upcoming year, manned the middle of Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley's Air Raid offense. Starting 12 games, he protected a unit that finished No. 1 nationwide in passing offense.
Now in his sixth and final collegiate season, Fiacable and the Owls are working through fall camp, with the season opener set for Saturday, Sept. 5 at Florida.
ABOUT THE RIMINGTON TROPHY
The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding center in NCAA
Division I College Football. Since its inception, the award has raised over $5 million for the
Boomer Esiason Foundation.
Dave Rimington, the award's namesake, was a consensus first-team All-America center at the
University of Nebraska in 1981 and 1982, during which time he became the John Outland
Trophy's only two-time winner as the nation's finest college interior lineman. For more on the
