Rogers on Lou Groza Watch List

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Entering the 2026 season, graduate kicker Collin Rogers has been named to the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award Watch List, announced on Friday afternoon by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
The Lou Groza Award is given to the best collegiate kicker in the country. 35 preseason honorees are named for the upcoming year's 35th edition of the award.
Rogers makes the watch list for the second time in his collegiate career, previously earning a spot in 2024 as a member of SMU's program. He is currently the active NCAA leader in points among kickers (371) and is second in field goals made (61).
This marks Rogers' second preseason recognition, named to the American All-Conference team by Phil Steele Magazine earlier in the summer.
The Owls are in the opening week of fall camp with the 2026 season beginning on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Florida.
