Owls Set to Compete in Two Meets

RALEIGH, N.C/CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will split into two groups this weekend to compete in the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State on Friday afternoon and some traveling back south to compete in the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Teegan Anderson, Sophie Dethier, and Jessica Hatch will compete in the 1500-meter and 3000-meter steeplechase at the Raleigh Relays. While the rest will return to Coral Gables in participate in eight events (1500-meter, 400-meter, 100-meter, 800-meter, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, 200-meter, and 4x400-meter relay).

LAST TIME OUT
- Jada Bolhuis was FAU's top finisher in the 400-meter, placing fourth in a season best time of 56.41.
- Rosa ten Berg and Teegan Anderson represented the Owls in the 800-meter as they placed first (2:09.26) and second (2:12.64). With Anderson's performance she etched her name in the record book at No. 10 in program history.
- Freshman Joelle White placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.68 in her first collegiate outdoor meet of her career.
- Bolhuis, Adriana Lopez, and Richelle Williams competed in the 200-meter.
- Bolhuis recorded a time of 24.95 (+1.1) for a new personal best in the 200-meter.
- White, Bolhuis, Williams, and Lopez represented FAU in the 4x400-meter relay to close out the season opener.
