RALEIGH, N.C – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team concluded the day at Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C State on Friday afternoon.
The Owls competed in two events on the day as Teegan Anderson and Sophie Dethier represented FAU in the 1500-meter. Junior Jessica Hatch ran in her first meet this season. Hatch participated in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
QUICK HITS
• Anderson came in first for the Owls in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:31.53 in her first appearance in this event in a Florida Atlantic uniform.
• Her time moves her to number four all-time in the Owls top-10 record book.
• In her first 1500-meter for the outdoor season, Dethier recorded an 4:49.97.
• To close out the meet for FAU, Hatch ran a 10:48.77 in the 3000-meter steeplechase
UPCOMING
The rest of the Owls will travel down south to compete in the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, March 28 in Coral Gables. The meet will air on ACCNX.
