BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team got back into the win column with a 4-0 Thursday victory over the visiting Delaware Blue Hens.

FAU moves to 8-10 on the season while Delaware falls to 12-5. The win also keeps the Owls perfect at 2-0 versus the Blue Hens all-time.

THE BEGINNING
The duo of Lucca Pignaton and Vanja Hodzic were 6-3 victors on court #2 and the doubles point was clinched just minutes later by the duo of Simon Myslivec and Lucca Acioly on court #3, by a 6-2 score. Doubles court #1 was abandoned with Mark Havlicek and Marek Pazdera up 5-3. Myslivec won his set one in tiebreaker fashion and then closed out court #3 with a 6-4 second set win.

THE MIDDLE
The middle courts gave the Owls the match. Pazdera pushed the score to 2-0 with a court #2 straight set win at 6-1, 6-4. Myslivec won set one in tiebreaker fashion and then closed out court #3 by winning the second set at 6-4.

THE FINISH
With three courts in progress, the Owls fight song rang out following Jan Kusy's court #4 win at 7-6(7-3), 6-0. Courts #1, #5 and #6 were abandoned.
