Veltkamp Serving as Counselor at Manning Passing Academy

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Caden Veltkamp, redshirt junior quarterback for the Florida Atlantic football team, has been selected as a counselor at the annual Manning Passing Academy. This year's edition will be held from June 26 – 29 at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Veltkamp and several other of the top college quarterbacks in the country will be on hand to assist in in the development of high school talent.
The four-day camp is founded and ran by the legendary Manning family, with 48 years of combined NFL quarterback experience between Archie and his four-time Super Bowl champion sons Eli and Peyton, the latter of whom has five MVPs and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
Veltkamp enters his first year with the Owls after a 2024 season that saw him win Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year at Western Kentucky. He went 258-for-389 on his passing attempts, throwing for 3,108 yards and 25 touchdowns while adding 150 yards and seven scores on the ground.
