BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 22 Florida Atlantic softball team continues American Athletic Conference play with a home series versus Charlotte from Friday, March 21-23. All games are on ESPN+.
Friday's matchup between the Owls (27-4, 6-0) and the 49ers (14-16, 2-4) is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will mark Kids Night, with all children 12 and under receiving free entry. The series will continue with a 2 p.m. matchup and Saturday before concluding with a noon first pitch on Sunday.
Prior to Friday's game, FAU Head Coach
Jordan Clark will be recognized for recording her 100th career win, coming just halfway through her third season. All 100 victories have been with the Owls.

The Owls won all three games in their road series against UAB, their second consecutive AAC sweep. It did not come easy, with the final two each requiring an FAU comeback in the top of the seventh innings.
Senior pitcher
Ainsley Lambert allowed zero runs and earned back-to-back victories in the come-from behind wins, moving to 4-0 on the season. She was an AAC Honorable Mention recipient for her efforts.
- The Owls are led by Clark in her third season at the helm of the program with a record of 103-40.
- FAU is ranked No. 22 in the NFCA Coaches Poll, No. 23 in Softball America, and No. 24 in D1Softball.
- Florida Atlantic is tied for seventh nationwide in doubles (54), 12th in hits (267), 31st in runs (189) and 36th in RBI (165).
- As a team, the Owls lead the AAC in ERA (2.22), strikeouts thrown (182), and opponent batting average (.204) and are second in hits, doubles, runs, RBI, and batting average (.324)
- Freshman outfielder Bella Foran is tied for 16th nationwide in hits (42) and is second in the conference in batting average (.467).
- Redshirt sophomore outfielderKylie Hammonds has reached base in 27 out of 31 games this season and leads the team in runs with 26.
- Junior pitcher Autumn Courtney is 25th nationally in strikeouts (90). She has 13 victories on the season, the second most among all pitchers.
- Lambert leads the NCAA in saves with seven and has the 15th lowest ERA in the nation (1.17).
- FAU's defense has not committed an error in 10 games and is fifth nationally in fielding percentage (.981).
- The Owls' 27 wins are tied for second most in the nation.
- Florida Atlantic is the only team in the AAC that is undefeated in league play.
- The 49ers are led by first-year Head Coach Courtney Breault.
- Charlotte is third in the AAC with 29 home runs on the season.
- Redshirt senior infielder Jenna Lord is one of the top power hitters in the conference, leading in home runs (11) and RBI (34).
- Brooke Bowling, redshirt junior pitcher, has made a team-high 14 starts with four complete games and an ERA of 5.35.
- Charlotte trails the all-time series versus FAU, 21-15. The Owls picked up two out of three games in their 2024 meetings.
