AUSTIN, Texas - Two Florida Atlantic men's swimmers completed competition at the 2025 Toyota U.S. Open, highlighted by sophomore
Leyton Roe's 50 fly performance that was a US Nationals qualifying time.
Roe, alongside
Daniel Laureyssens, wrapped up the four-day meet in Austin, Texas competing amongst the best swimmers internationally.

QUICK HITS
- Both Roe and Laureyssens competed in the 50 fly swimming 24.88 and 25.03 respectively. Roe made the "C" final for a third time swimming 24.34.
- In the 50 free, Roe swam a time of 22.94 and 22.93 in the "C" final while Laureyssens followed closely behind swimming 23.34.
- In the 100 free, Laureyssens finished with a time of 50.62.
- In the 100 fly, Roe swam 55.28 and 54.89 in the "C" final, with Laureyssens in the 200 free finishing in a time of 1:53.04.

Select Owl swimmers will participate in the CSCAA Open Water National Championship on December 13, in Nathan Benderson Park, located in Sarasota, Florida. The next official meet for Florida Atlantic will be on December 15 in Coral Cables, Florida, as the Owls face the University of Miami women's team and Cincinnati.
