Perkins Posts 71 to Lead Owls in South Carolina

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Florida Atlantic women's golf is in 10th place after one day at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate in Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Freshman Charlotte Perkins posted an even-par round of 71 and is tied for fifth in the 104-player field.

Perkins is three back of the Cal Poly's Sarah Yoo (-3) after 18 holes.
The freshman from Sydney, Australia circled three birdies in her opening round at 7, 9, and 13 offset by bogeys at 10, 11, and 18.
As a team, the Owls are +15 – 10 shots behind Cal Poly (+5) in the 19-team field.
