Scarcello, Cadeac Lead Owls on Day One at Osprey Point

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's golf is in 12th place after 36 holes at the FAU Paradise Invitational. Monday's first two rounds were played in atypical South Florida conditions. Temperatures at Osprey Point Golf Club hovered in the low 60s with persistent clouds, wind, and occasional rain.

Freshman Giulia Scarcello was the Owls' low scorer on Monday. The Vinovo, Italy native recorded rounds of 73 (+1) and 71 (-1) to sit even-par heading into Tuesday. Scarcello is five shots back of a three-way tie for first.
Clemence Cadeac is +2 through 36 holes after rounds of 74 and 72.
Cadeac rallied on her final nine holes in round two, going bogey-free while circling birdies at 10, 15, and 17
