BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's golf (+28) tied for fourth at the American Conference Championship on Wednesday afternoon. It's the fourth time under Head Coach Heather Young that the Owls have recorded a Top-4 Conference Championship finish. Sophomore Maddie Rathjen (+3) led the way for the Owls, finishing a career-best T5 in the 50-player field. Tulsa (+2) won the team title for the second consecutive year. Charlotte's Pinky Chaisilprungruang posted a final round 67 to win medalist honors by nine shots at -11.

Quick Hits

Rathjen began the day in ninth but moved into the Top 5 with a final round 73 (+1).
After two bogeys on her opening nine, she rallied with birdies at 12 and 17 to move up four places.
Charlotte Perkins and Nancy Cox also finished inside the Top 20, each tying for 18th after matching final round 75s.

What's Next
The American will announce its All-Conference team on Thursday. The top ten individuals in the final overall Clippd rankings, along with any individuals that finish in the top seven in the Conference Championship, make the All-Conference team.
