Owls Travel to Tulsa for AAC Matchup

TULSA, Okla. – Florida Atlantic women's soccer will travel to Tulsa to take on the Hurricane for the second time in program history on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. EST.

The Owls (2-7-3, 1-2-1 AAC) will play Tulsa (6-6-2, 2-3-0 AAC) on the road for the second time in program history. This will mark the first time these two teams faced each other since Sept. 29, 2013, when the match resulted in a 0-0 draw in double overtime. The Owls' third American Athletic Conference matchup on the road will air on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE OWLS

Head Coach Patrick Baker is in his 12th season at the helm of the Owls
Baker is the only women's soccer coach in history to go to a Division I, II, and III postseason tournament
Florida Atlantic is in its second year in the American Athletic Conference after making it to the AAC Semifinals last season
The Owls holds a 2-7-3 overall record on the year
On the year, Florida Atlantic has registered seven different goal scorers (Michelle Horan, Drew Dempsey, Olivia Bori, Emmy Schleifer, Daniella Diaz, Stella Rubidoux, Jodi Smith, and Sloane Young)
Sunday's match is the second appearance the Owls will make in Tulsa
Diaz and Schleifer were named AAC Weekly Honorable Mention (Sept. 23)
