BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team will send select members of their distance squad to compete in the VertKlasse Meet on Friday. The events will be held at High Point University in North Carolina.

Competing Owls

Leah Helms, Jordan Stevens, Elyssa Toal: 15000m
Anabell Reumann: 3000m steeplechase
Paige Saiz: 5000m

Last Time Out

The Owls competed in multiple meets. Madlen Kappeler ran at the Raleigh Relays while the rest of the team took part in the UM Hurricane Invitational

Kappeler ran in the 1000m, where her time of 36:14.4 is third best in FAU history
Jessica Lambert continued her dominant season, setting the school record in the outdoor 800m (2:07.8)
Cara Simpson placed in third in the 100m with a time of 11.86, ninth best in school history. Simpson also finished with a time of 24.28 in the 200m for the eighth best time in FAU history
