BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's tennis, ranked No. 57 nationally, downed Georgia State University 6-1, on Wednesday.

With the doubles point in hand, the Owls built the lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win by Hunter Robbins, then Kevin Huempfner downed his court two opponent 6-4, 6-1 and the match was clinched by Nicolas Acevedo, who won court three 6-2, 6-4. Playing out their matches, both Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Joao Graca also were winners.

The Owls move to 11-8 on the season, winning five of the last seven times they have taken the court. Graca paces the squad with a 10-4 record while Robbins is just one win away from reaching double-digit wins sporting a 9-4 record. Huempfner is 7-5 on the year.
