At FAU
Senior (2022-23)
- Joined the Owls in the fall of 2022
- Opened FAU career by teaming with Filip Krolo to capture the ITA South Regional, hosted by FSU. Duo defeated FSU, UM, UF and Georgia in a championship three sets to advance to the ITA Fall Nationals
- Captured his first doubles match along side Krolo, to advance to the ITA Fall National Round of 16 where they fell to Baylor in three 4-6, 6-1, 11-9
- Fall wrapped with a No. 32 National rank in doubles play
- Opened the 2023 dual season with Filip Krolo as a doubles partner on court one falling 6-1 to Santa Barbara and then fell in straight sets in singles play
- He and Krolo fell in doubles play to Rice before he was replaced in the singles lineup due to injury
- At the 2023 ITA Kickoff Weekend event, host by Texas, he teamed with Finn Stodder in doubles play, falling 6-3 and he was up 6-4, 5-4 in singles play versus the nation's No. 19 ranked player before it ended with the match being clinched
- In the same event, he fell to Cal in both doubles and singles. His singles match was versus a player ranked No. 52 nationally
- He and Kevin Huempfner captured their court one doubles match at Stetson and he followed it up with a court one in in singles play
- Fell at Miami and was a doubles winner at Clemson before dropping a three-set singles match
- Worked with Kevin Huempfner, on court one, to defeat UCF 6-4 and then fell on court two 7-5, 7-6 (9-7)
- Doubles match versus UNCWilmington was not finish with the point being secured by FAU and he did not play singles
- Versus Kennesaw State, he and Huempfner won 6-2 and he was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in singles play on court three
- A 6-4 winner alongside Huempfner versus South Alabama and a 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 winning on court three
- Captured doubles court one and singles court three versus Georgia State
- Worked with Kevin Huempfner and captured a 6-4 court one win versus USF and breezed to a 6-1, 6-2 win on court three
- Downed Brown in both doubles and singles and both on court one...6-2 and 6-1-6-1, respectively
- He and Kevin Huempfner suffered a 6-4 loss to Charlotte in the quarterfinal round of the C-USA Championship, but Acevedo responded with a 6-4, 6-4 win on court three to help send the Owls to the tournament's semifinal round
- The semifinals saw Acevedo and Huempfner drop their doubles match to Louisiana Tech and he then picked up the first set of his singles match, dropped the second and ultimately fell in 7-5 in the third

- In the Fall, Singles// Made it to the quarterfinals at the ITA Regionals, beating opponents from Drake, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Doubles// Played with Luka Mrsic at the ITA Regionals in the first round
- The Spring saw Singles// Named AAC Player of the week on Feb. 1...had a 12-7 record in dual matches with all matches played at courts one (7-3) and two (5-4). Doubles// Record an 11-12 record, playing with five different partners
- Named ACC Player of the Week (Feb. 1)
- Spring season Singles// Had a 12-9 record while playing at No. 3-5
- Clinched matches versus No. 22 Memphis and No. 48 SMU
- Named the AAC Player of the Week on March 9th after going undefeated against No. 22 Memphis
- Doubles// Went 7-12 while playing with Orel Ovil and Stefan Latinovic.
- Did not compete during the 2019-20 spring season.
Before Becoming a Shocker
- As a junior player, Acevedo won two grade four International Tennis Federation tournaments in doubles
- He also notched two ITF tournament victories in singles in 2017
- In 2018, Acevedo had a stellar victory over the player currently ranked No. 524 by the Association of Tennis Professionals at the Trujillo 15K ITF futures tournament
