Women’s Golf Set to Take on Lady Paladin Invite

Greenville, S.C. – For the first time this fall, Florida Atlantic University women's golf will compete as a team when they travel to South Carolina for the Furman Lady Paladin Invitational on Friday.
So far this season, the Owls have been represented by Clemence Cadeac and Rosa Barnak in one event on an individual level. At the William & Mary Fall Invitational last week, Cadeac made her FAU debut with a runner-up finish. The native of Toulouse, France earned Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week honors for her effort.

The Course
The par-72 Furman University Golf Course will play host at 6,256 yards. The course has been voted the No. 1 Public Golf Course in Greenville, and the entire Upstate by the South Carolina Golf Ratings Panel. It was also ranked No. 17 in Golfweek's "Best Campus Courses" in 2016 and has received a 3.5 star ranking from Golf Digest.The Field
The field of 18 teams features seven ranked inside the Top 100 according to GolfStat rankings. Furman's Anna Morgan, a National Championship qualifier last season, is the highest ranked individual in the field at No. 14.43. Furman

The three-day event will feature 18 holes per day. The final round on Sunday will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The Owls will be paired with Coastal Carolina and fellow C-USA opponent WKU in Friday's opening round.- 10:39 a.m.: Kim Egozi
