Bagnoli Top 10 After Day One in Tallahassee

Tallahassee, Fla. – Letizia Bagnoli posted a round of even-par (72) on Monday in the first round of the NCAA Regional at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee. The Conference USA individual champion is tied for seventh in the field of 65. She is three shots back of Florida State's Beatrice Wallin and Mississippi State's Ashley Gillam in a tie for first with 36 holes still to play.

Bagnoli went out in 38 (+2) before turning it on early on the back nine
The senior made her first birdie of the day at the par-five 11th
She followed it up with two more birdies at the par-three 13th and par-five 14th to get into red figures for the first time
Bagnoli was two off the lead at that point before a bogey at the par-four 17th
The Italian will tee off in round two at 8:55 am on Tuesday morning alongside Jacksonville State's Berta Sanchez Sabe and Arkansas State's Olivia Schmidt
