BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team returns to the FAU Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center, where the team has enjoyed success in 2022, when the Owls play host to Cleveland State at 9:30 a.m on Wednesday morning.
FAU holds a national ranking of No. 55 and will enter the contest with a 9-3 record. Cleveland State comes into the match with a 5-7 record. The match has been moved up to a 9:30 a.m. start due to forecasted weather.
The Owls will be led by a trio of players that have already tallied eight wins on the season. Both
Kevin Huempfner and
Finn Stodder are 8-1 on the season, and
Alvaro Fernandez Horta will enter the contest with an 8-2 mark.
Next Up
The Owls have a busy week in store with a match scheduled for noon Thursday versus fellow Conference USA member UTSA. FAU will then travel to UCF on Sunday for a noon match in Orlando.
