BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team and first-year head coach
Heather Bowie Young are pleased to announce the 2021-22 schedule for the squad. The campaign begins in less than three weeks, and features nine regular season tournaments, including four this fall.
The season begins at the William & Mary Fall Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 12, the first day of two in Williamsburg, Virginia. The next week is another travel trip to Alabama, for the UAB Invite, Sept. 20-21.
"Our schedule this fall is very solid," said Bowie Young. "We start out with two road trips and then play our last two in Florida. I am looking forward to qualifying next week for our first event at William & Mary. The team has worked hard all summer and I believe they are excited to get started as well. Go Owls!"
The first of the two fall events in the Sunshine State will be local, in Port St. Lucie for the Jupiter Women's Invite, Oct. 4-5. The other is a bit further north, and west, to Lakewood Ranch. Closing out the fall on Oct. 16-17 will be the Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by FIU.
