– The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (5-2-2, 2-2-0 in Conference USA) will look to earn its third straight wins, as the squad faces off against No. 13 Marshall (6-2-2, 3-0-1 C-USA) on the road. This match marks the first of two road matches against ranked C-USA opponents for the Owls. First touch is set for 11 a.m. at Hoops Family Field with the match being broadcast on ESPN+.Â

- After two consecutive C-USA wins, the Owls post a 2-2-0 record in C-USA play, and 5-2-2 overall
- The Owls went into the C-USA slate with an undefeated record achieved in non-conference play, 3-0-2
- FAU has outscored (12) and outshot (93-67) its opponents since the first match of the season
- Ivan Mykhailenko leads the team with four goals for eight points, while taking a team's most 20 shots with 13 of those on goal
- Tom Abrahamsson, Jose Alastuey, Alonso Coello Camarero, Fabrizio Cubeddu, Blake Dean and Daniel Skistad each have one assist a piece
- Neil Strauber has played 850 minutes at net while accumulating a 5-2-2 record. He has tallied a 0.85 goals against average along with 26 saves. His four shutouts is second in the conference and 18th in the country
- FAU's backline has been run by Graeme Pratt, who has played all 850 minutes on the season. Skistad and Vasilis Spinos have also been critical on the defensive end
- In the C-USA standings, FAU is fourth with six points

- Mykhailenko was tabbed C-USA Offensive Player of the Week following his unstoppable performance in the Owls' 2-1 win over South Carolina last Saturday
- The striker tallied the Owls' two goals in the first half of the match, including the game-winner, while taking a career-high five shots on goal

- Marshall is on top of the C-USA leaderboard with 10 points after starting the C-USA slate with a 3-0-1 record Â
- The Herd were projected to defend their conference title after winning the league and going to the third round of the NCAA Tournament as the No. 11 seed last season
- Marshall had three representatives to the C-USA Preseason Team, Pedro Dolabella (seven goals and four assists for 18 points in 2019), Jan-Erik Leinhos (defender with four goals in 2019) and Milo Yosef (led team in 2019 with 12 goals and 27 points), who was also named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year
- Vitor Dias leads the team with six goals and three assists for 15 points
- Oliver Semmle has held it down in net for Marshall with a 0.50 goals against average and five shutouts, both of which both lead the conference

- The Owls hold a slight edge over Marshall with a 5-4-1 series record
- FAU delivered a huge 1-0 overtime win over the No. 15-ranked Herd last season after Mykhailenko drilled a penalty kick in the 93rd minute

- FAU and Marshall have been facing off every year since 2013, FAU's debut season in C-USA

FAU will be back on the road once again next Saturday, April 10 for another tough test at Charlotte, who is currently ranked No. 17. The match is set for 2 p.m. at Transamerica Field.
