CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team wrapped the road portion of the 2021 regular season – and fifth straight match away from home – falling to Miami Tuesday afternoon.

Notables:

FAU (6-10) went up at the outset, earning the doubles point
The No. 2 and No. 3 Owl pairings both triumphed
The third court of Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Finn Stodder came in first, 6-3
Kevin Huempfner and Hunter Robbins was next, combining for a 6-4 win
UM won in straight sets on four courts in singles to clinch, which was also the final
One of those was Stodder playing to a first set tiebreak on No. 5
The unfinished matches were Maxime Lapraille, who also played a tiebreak, on the first court, while Filip Krolo won his opening set and was out to the third (6-1, 0-6, 1-3)
