DELAND, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's tennis picked up a win in their first match in 26 days, defeating Stetson on the road on Friday afternoon, 5-2.

- The Owls (3-3) won the doubles point, taking decisions on the first and second courts
- On No. 1, Maxime Lapraille and Filip Krolo were 6-4 victors; Kevin Huempfner and Hunter Robbins prevailed on No. 2, 6-3
- Singles began with the Hatters (1-2) knotting things up, but three straight wins clinched it, and the fourth in a row was the cherry on top
- Huempfner put the Owls back ahead with a 6-3, 6-2 straight-set win at No. 4
- No. 5 Finn Stodder was next in, winning 7-5, 6-2
- The clincher came courtesy of Alvaro Fernandez Horta, winning his match on No. 3, 6-4, 7-6
- And also winning was No. 1 Maxime Lapraille in three, coming from down a set, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2Â
