Owls Add a Match, Will Play Final Three at Home

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University volleyball (1-10, 1-8 Conference USA) play their final three matches at home. The Owls are scheduled to play host to in-state foe FIU (1-10, 1-9 C-USA) on Sunday and Monday. Both matches are scheduled for noon. The Owls are now scheduled to play the Middle Tennessee match, previously postponed, on Friday, March 26 at 6 p.m. That match will be the final match of the 2021 spring season.

The Leaders
FAU returns home this Sunday and Monday after playing two in Huntington, W.Va. Versus Marshall, Alicia Hearn came into her own and now leads FAU with an attack percentage of .258. Hearn has 63 kills on the year in 155 attempts. Scherine Dahoue continues to lead FAU with 136 kills and is second on the squad with 116 digs. The Owls' offense is guided by freshman MiaBella English, who has a team-leading 205 assists. Stephanie Young has added 175 assists as well as 53 kills, which places her third among her teammates. Defensively, the Owls continue to look to freshman Raine Lynch, who has tallied 130 digs, while Dahoue has added 116. At the net, freshman Nikola Bartecka has 33 blocks on the season.
