Three Owls Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University volleyball's Olivia Hart, Victoria Hensley, and Kayla Richardson were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The honor marks the second career honor for Hensley and the first for Hart and Richardson.
Hart was the Owls' offensive leader during her sophomore season in Paradise. The Elementary Education major currently holds an impressive 3.95 GPA.
The American Second Team All-Conference honoree competed in all 106 sets and played in and started all 30 matches for the Owls. Hart led the Owls in kills (385), kills per set (3.63), service aces (41), and service aces per set (0.39), and finished second for the Owls in digs (301) and digs per set (4.18). She also led the team in double-doubles, posting 12 double-doubles with kills and digs in 2025. Hart tallied a career-best 19 kills at UCF (Sept. 13) and tied that career-high during the opening round of the American Tournament vs. Tulsa (Nov. 21). She also recorded a career-best in digs and service aces, tallying 21 digs and five service aces in the Owls' five-set win over Brown (Sept. 12). Hart was named an American Weekly Honorable Mention honoree on Oct. 27.
Hensley, from Clearwater, Florida, helped power the Owls' offense as one of the Owls' assist leaders during her senior season. The Criminal Justice major holds a 3.64 GPA.
She competed in all 106 sets over 30 matches and made 20 starts for the Owls. Hensley ranked second on the team in assists (530) and assists per set (5.0). She also finished third on the team in digs (194), fourth in digs per set (1.83) and service aces (19), and fifth in service aces per set (0.18). Hensley also ranked third on the team in double-doubles, finishing with four assist-dig double-doubles in 2025. She tallied a season-high 14 digs at East Carolina (Oct. 12) and dished out a season-high 36 assists vs. Charlotte (Oct. 19). Hensley was also recognized as a 2025 American Preseason All-Conference honoree prior to the season and was one of the Owls' two team captains for the 2025 season.
Richardson, a native of Houston, Texas, was a major right-side presence during her senior season with the Owls. The Health Science major holds a 3.67 GPA.
She competed in 103 sets in all 30 matches and made 19 starts for the Owls in 2025. Richardson finished second for the Owls in blocks (69), third in kills (188) and blocks per set (0.67), and fifth in kills per set (1.83). She recorded a season-high 13 kills vs. Brown (Sept. 12), and a season-high six blocks at Temple (Oct. 5).
